The Rift #16
A newsletter covering the Crypto + AI narrative.
Space and Time Whitepaper is a a must read:
Io.net metric report:
The estimated time to AGI is decreasing with every advance. We’re in an exponential trend.
Zuck buying massive compute. I don’t think he will beat Bittensor and the likes in the long run anyway…
Akash is also ramping up compute, but a lot less:
Aqtis:
Aegis:
Fetch:
New Tao/Bittensor resource soon launching:
Autonolas:
AIgentX roadmap:
A very interesting development at one of the Bittensor subnet 28.
Imagine everything that is happening on all 32 of them. To be fair they have all along way to go before they beat the centralised one, but I believe every day open source comes closer. Bullish!
Now, over to some real alpha.
Founder of Akash:
Morpheus AI
Morpheus is Smart Agent network. A peer-to-peer network for generative AI. Permissionless and open-source.
Website with links to twitter and discord.
An Autonolas and BAI competitor.
Fair launch bootstrapping on the 8th of February. You stake stETH and you get tokens for your ETH for 90 days (pro rata, depending on your share). You can pull out your ETH anytime.
Now, the team is anonymous and seem to be very good and deep into the e/acc d/acc movement. Me likey.
In the discord there is a very notable active member, namely Erik Voorhees. 👀
Anyone can assume his name and oddly only one guy in the discord asked if it was really him - and got a laugh as reply.
His Twitter profile likes a lot of Morpheus tweets but no mention of the project.
I dug online and found a conference where he was listed as a speaker with the tag “active Morpheus community member” and then I finally found this:
Confirmed! A project with him behind it …… oh my. I will be there with my ETH on the 8th.
KIP Protocol:
Very interesting - dive deeper if u have the time.
DePIN on Polygon:
More on Space and Time - I think this project will hit a sweet spot:
AI Arena - get ready!
OpSec:
That’s all for now folks!
